Patrick Sciarratta
Mr. Sciarratta is a Senior Fellow, World Development Foundation & President of the Global NGO Executive Committee.
For over a quarter century, his leadership training has empowered society to learn and exchange best practices. He has also created public programming that has engaged youth leaders to help improve the world, including the Youth Assembly at the United Nations.
Youth he has mentored now lead arts and civil society organizations throughout the world.
He has directed multifaceted NGOs within academic, cultural, community and diplomatic venues. At the United Nations from 2014 through 2017, he offered sustainable development conference programming as Special Adviser to the Permanent Missions of Suriname and previously Sao Tome and Principe, where he was provided Delegate Status.
In 2019, he was elected as a Board member to the Global NGO Executive Committee, where he serves as editor of the ‘NGO Reporter,’ its main, global communications organ.
From 1991-2015, Patrick led hundreds of academic, alumni, arts, cultural, diplomatic, and senior ‘group peace exchanges’ worldwide, creating and facilitating opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange.
Mr. Sciarratta is Program Director at the World Development Foundation and President of the Vinculum Foundation (VF), “the line that connects us.” At both, since 2015, he’s linked excellent NGO projects with great sponsors, primarily in support of UN goals and mission.
From 2018 to present, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Westchester chapter of the United Nations Association. There, he functions as its Communications Chair and edits its online magazine.
